Initial Research: Doctor Who

In exploring the theme of spiders in mars, I was interested in the idea of time travel. 

To explore my ideas I researched the television series "doctor who" that aired in 1963. This show featured the ideas of time travel. 

This show has been on air for over 50 years, and throughout that time, the Doctor who character has worn a wide variety of clothing styles, reflecting both the time period in which the episodes were made and the creative vision of the show's designers.

 The Ninth Doctor, played by Christopher Eccleston, wore a leather jacket and dark clothing

the Tenth Doctor, played by David Tennant, wore pinstripe suits and Converse sneakers. 

The Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith, had a quirky, vintage-inspired style, with jackets and bow ties. 

The Twelfth Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, had a more strict look, with a black red-lined coat.

Researching this has made me thought about maybe creating my first men's collection. I really like the range of styles and and ideas that come from the doctor who characters,
