Final Advert

The Final Advert for Glory Nail Polish...

In making my advert, I first thought about the ideas , of course,  of what I should advertise! I came up with things like makeup and flowers and I decided that I should do nails polish! I wanted the advert to really include work of my own whether I took the photo or drew the picture for the advertisement. I decided to draw the nails I used for the advert on my iPad. I drew the advert on my iPad Pro 11inch on Procreate. From my iPad, I shared the photo with my laptop so I could start putting the advert together.

I also used the softwares that we learned about in class which were Pixlr and Tailor Bands for my logo. These softwares really helps with the organization and vision that I wanted to create with the advert. The had a variety of fonts which gave me a lot of freedom and fun with the words. I used a few different fonts like Daddy Day, Elliot, and Elegant to really give the words more of a character, more of a feeling.

I knew that I wanted the brights colors from the nail polish to stand out more than anything. That's why I used a quite toned background and black for the words to really give a boldness and making it easier to read.

Reflection:

Overall, I really like my advert and I enjoyed choosing everything like the colors and fonts and placements. Something I could've done differently or watched out for is I think I could've rounded out the edges of the wrist more so it looks more natural, or elongated them off the page. I think this was a good task that had me very creative and engaged.
